Advance Specialties custom manufactures flexible silos for storing your powdered and granulated materials. Our highly porous fabric is permeable to air which allows the stored product to breath. Using the latest fabrics available we can match the storage, stabilization and environmental demands of your expandable resins.

Agriculture

Our silos are ideal for the bulk storage of most agricultural commodities such as legumes, cereals, and seeds.

All of our bags are manufactured in our Tennessee plant. We're proud to offer U.S. made silos that are reasonably priced and with quick turn around times.

14 oz Vinyl
14 oz Vinyl-Coated Polyester
Primarily used as standard frame sleeves for suspending silos from steel tube frames. This vinyl is also used as inlet/outlet spout pipe connections for material transmission.

80 CFM
80 CFM (F2103)
Woven polypropylene fabric with an average pour size of 30 microns and bubble point (largest opening) of 75 microns. Recommended for "re-grind" storage, dust resistant applications or silo storage where low air/gas permeability is desired.

100 CFM
100 CFM (F0070)
Woven polypropylene fabric with an average pour size of 45 microns and bubble point (largest opening) of 130 microns. Recommended for "re-grind" storage, dust resistant applications or where low air/gas permeability is desired. This particular grade of fabric provides significantly higher tensile-warp, tensile fill and burst strength than smaller grades making it ideal for the storage of higher density materials.

225 CFM
225 CFM (F2103)
Woven polypropylene fabric with an average pour size of 50 microns and bubble point (largest opening) of 110 microns. Recommended for "re-grind storage, or pre-expanded virgin resin storage where moderate to low air/gas flow is desired.

364-400 CFM (RAYGRN)
Often referred to as "GREEN/BLACK" this material is the most widely used EPS/EPP silo fabric. With an average pour size of 128 microns and bubble point (largest opening) of 306 microns green/black provides optimal air/gas flow for the drying and stabiliztion of expanded resins.

180 CFM Nylon - Anti Static
Woven nylon fabric with carbon covered nylon strands inserted every 5th pick. Designed to conduct static, these carbon yarns direct static charges to a sewn-in copper ground cable affixed to silo grounding rods. In addition to the enhanced anti static performance, it shares the same strength, permeability and temperature resistance as the standard 180 CFM Nylon (111-679).

Woven nylon frabic with an air permeabilility range of 160 CFM to 220 CFM and operating temperature resistance of 185 F with short term resistance up to 365 F. Silos constructed from nylon combine strength, permeability and temperature resistance.

Screen or mesh type of fabric woven from polypropylene with a pour size of 285 microns and 34% open area. This fabric is typically used as vented ceilings for silos.
